building virtual environments
As part of the "Building Virtual Environments" course, I learned how to create interactive real-time experiences using Unity and C#. This project focused on developing a 2D platformer game, incorporating Unity's new input system with controller support. Advanced features such as Tilemap, Cinemachine, 2D lighting, and post-processing were utilized to enhance the game.
The game included complex player movements and animations, enemies, traps, destructible objects, and melee combat. Learned how to integrate moving and one-way platforms, a main menu with UI elements, sound effects, background music, and a versatile particle system into a video game.
